Zest Education is currently recruiting for a dedicated and passionate full-time Teaching Assistant for a thriving primary school in the bustling area of Kings Norton. This wonderful primary school boasts state-of-the-art facilities and a supportive environment that supports growth and learning for all pupils.
As a Teaching Assistant, you will primarily work with small groups in Year 1, providing both group and individual support as needed. Our school prides itself on delivering a well-rounded curriculum that engages and challenges children to reach their full potential.
The ideal candidate will meet the following criteria:
– Holds an NVQ Level 3 qualification (or higher) in a relevant subject, or possesses a minimum of 3 months of recent experience in a similar role.
– Demonstrates a solid understanding of the KS1 curriculum.
– Exhibits a positive work ethic and a friendly demeanour.
– Is a team player with excellent communication skills.
– Has reliable transportation due to the school’s location.

Zest Education are an REC audited agency and are dedicated to safeguarding children. All candidates must hold an enhanced DBS (or allow us to process one for you) and be registered to the DBS Update Service, be able to provide references to cover the last two years and successfully pass all other necessary safeguarding checks prior to clearance for work.
Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
