About the Role

Zest Education is recruiting motivated and enthusiastic Sports Coaches to work across a range of secondary schools in Bilston and the surrounding areas. If you’re passionate about inspiring young people through sport and physical activity, this is an exciting opportunity to make a genuine impact across multiple school communities.

We work closely with a number of local schools, many of which have a high demand for reliable, energetic, and confident Sports Coaches, with immediate opportunities available.

Your Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

• Deliver engaging PE lessons and sports sessions across KS3 and KS4, ensuring sessions are inclusive, safe and enjoyable.
• Foster a positive learning environment, building strong relationships with students and staff.
• Support classroom teachers with PE curriculum delivery, assessment, and extracurricular activities.
• Manage and motivate groups of students, encouraging teamwork, positive behaviour, and a safe, supportive atmosphere where all pupils can thrive.

What We’re Looking For

• Background in Sports Coaching, PE teaching, or a related discipline
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Relevant coaching qualification (Level 2 preferred)
• Experience working with young people in either an educational or sports setting
• An Enhanced DBS certificate, or willingness to apply for one
