Zest Education are looking for a Supply Teacher who is confident within a classroom setting and has an outgoing and professional manner who is able to provide general cover within the classroom in Secondary Schools around the Hodge Hill and Erdington area.
The role of a supply teacher is to help the running of a school by ensuring that their student’s learning is not disrupted. In most cases, the work will all be prepared in advance for you and you will need to deliver this to the class and ensure that behaviour management protocols are followed.
The position will be a 1-month temporary contract starting in June until the end of the school year. However, for the right candidate there is the opportunity for this to become a permanent position in September. The job is part time on a 3/4 day on an alternating week schedule, however this could be extended to full time hours if desired.
The successful candidate will have:
- A PGCE or equivalent UK teaching qualification that has awarded them QTS or QTLS
- A great team ethos and want to be part of a strong team environment
- The ability to plan, mark and deliver high quality lessons
- Excellent classroom and behaviour management
Both newly qualified teachers (NQT) / Early careers teachers (ECT) and experienced teachers will be equally considered for this role.
Rate of pay varies dependant on experience.
