A welcoming and well‑resourced primary school in Coventry is looking for a committed Primary Teacher to join their team. The school prides itself on its inclusive ethos, supportive leadership and strong community feel. They are seeking a teacher who can deliver engaging, high‑quality lessons and create a positive, structured learning environment where every child can thrive.

Whether you specialise in KS1 or KS2, the school is open to placing the right teacher in the year group that best suits their strengths. You’ll be joining a collaborative staff team who work closely to share ideas, plan effectively and support one another.

Requirements

• QTS is essential
• Strong classroom teaching experience within a primary setting
• Ability to plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons
• Confident managing behaviour using positive, consistent strategies
• SEND experience or strong SEND awareness is highly desirable
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to build positive relationships with pupils, families and colleagues
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil wellbeing

Day‑to‑day duties

• Planning and delivering high‑quality lessons across the primary curriculum
• Creating a positive, inclusive and well‑structured classroom environment
• Differentiating learning to meet the needs of all pupils, including those with SEND
• Tracking and assessing pupil progress to inform future planning
• Working closely with teaching assistants and the wider school team
• Communicating effectively with parents and carers
• Contributing to school life through meetings, events and collaborative planning
