Zest Education is seeking a dedicated and experienced Teacher to join a special educational needs school in Leamington Spa. This full-time role is available immediately and offers a long-term opportunity to make a difference in the lives of students aged 11-18 with Autism (ASC) and social, emotional, and mental health difficulties (SEMH).
The ideal candidate for this position will be a highly effective and creative classroom practitioner with a passion for working with students with SEND. They should possess a deep understanding of the KS2 and KS3 curriculum and have a primary teaching background with experience in teaching phonics, literacy, numeracy, and a variety of subjects.
Key Responsibilities:
– Previous experience working with students across two key stages
– Proficiency in teaching children with complex special needs, including ASD and SLD
– Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
– Ability to take on the role of a class teacher and lead a group of students
– Deliver engaging and tailored lessons to a diverse group of pupils
– Collaborate effectively with colleagues as a team player

All candidates must hold an enhanced DBS (or allow us to process one for you) and be registered to the DBS Update Service, be able to provide references to cover the last two years and successfully pass all other necessary safeguarding checks prior to clearance for work.
Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
