Job Description

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with special educational needs? Zest Education is seeking a dedicated teacher to join our team at a special educational needs school in Kenilworth. This part-time role, available for an immediate start, will have you working 3 days a week within a supportive environment that caters to children aged 6-18 with Autism (ASC) and social, emotional, and mental health difficulties.

As a teacher in this role, you will play a vital part in providing high-quality education services tailored to the individual needs of the students. Your responsibilities will include planning and delivering engaging lessons to small groups or individual students, monitoring and reporting on student progress, contributing to the school’s development plan, and promoting the overall well-being of the students in line with company policies.

You will be instrumental in developing and implementing personalised education plans, behaviour plans, and other relevant strategies to support student growth and progress. Your role will also involve creating a stimulating learning environment, ensuring student safety both on and off-site, and effectively managing and guiding student behaviour towards self-control and positive development.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
