Teacher
Zest Education is proud to be working alongside a special educational needs school based in Nuneaton that are seeking a qualified Teacher with QTS.
This role is due to begin September 2024 and will continue on a long-term basis for the full academic year. There is potential for a permanent position for the right candidate.
This school caters for students aged 11 – 19 with a variety of talents and learning disabilities.
As a teacher at this school, you will work closely with a small group of pupils diagnosed with Autism or Complex Needs, helping them to unlock their full potential and achieve their educational goals. You will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons, monitoring student progress, and fostering positive behaviour in the classroom.
We are looking for a teacher who is dedicated to building strong relationships with students, creating a stimulating and purposeful learning environment, and promoting teaching and learning outside of traditional classroom settings. Zest Education are an REC audited agency and are dedicated to safeguarding children. All candidates must hold an enhanced DBS (or allow us to process one for you) and be registered to the DBS Update Service, be able to provide references to cover the last two years and successfully pass all other necessary safeguarding checks prior to clearance for work.
Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
