Zest Education are working alongside a secondary school in Birmingham City Centre who are seeking an Art and Design Teacher to join their team. This full-time role is ideal for a teacher who is looking for a challenging and rewarding opportunity. The role is due to commence in April 2024 and is expected to run until the end of the academic year.

Responsibilities:

– Planning and delivering engaging Art and Design lessons up to Key Stage 4
– Marking student work and providing constructive feedback
– Creating a stimulating and creative learning environment for students
– Collaborating with colleagues to enhance the Art and Design curriculum
– Supporting students in their artistic development and growth

Requirements:

– Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Art or a related subject
– Experience teaching Art and Design at KS4 level
– Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Art and Design
– Ability to inspire and motivate students
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

The school are open to considering candidates from any Design and Technology discipline, who are enthusiastic about teaching Art.
