Are you a passionate and dedicated Art Teacher looking for a new opportunity? Zest Education is currently seeking a qualified Teacher of Art to join a vibrant secondary school in Dudley for the academic year starting in September 2024.
As an Art Teacher at Zest Education, you will have the chance to work in a school with excellent art and design facilities, fostering creativity and innovation among students. The ideal candidate will hold QTS and possess a strong understanding of the art curriculum, with previous teaching experience being advantageous. You will be teaching KS3 and KS4 classes as part of this role, with potential for KS5 teaching.
Key responsibilities:
– Plan and teach engaging lessons that motivate the students in your subject and cater to the needs of diverse learners
– Mark and assess students work and track student progression
– Have excellent curriculum knowledge that continues to develop – particularly the new and engaging ways to teach Art and Design as the subject continues to evolve.
– Have strong behaviour management skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students and staff.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
