Zest Education are seeking a Teacher of Business to join a Secondary School in the Kings Heath area. The ideal candidate should have with a strong understanding of business principles and the ability to effectively impart knowledge to students. They should also have a solid foundation in mathematics, as this is considered desirable for this role. This is a full-time role to commence in May 2024. The role is expected to run until the end of the academic year.


– Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons on various business topics.
– Teach students about key business concepts such as marketing, finance, accounting, and entrepreneurship.
– Ensure that the curriculum is covered effectively and that learning objectives are met.
– Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback and guidance for improvement.
– Prepare assignments to evaluate student performance.
– Collaborate with other teachers and staff to enhance the overall quality of education.
– Stay up to date with advancements in the business field and implement relevant changes in the curriculum.
– Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and engagement.


– Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Business or a related field.
– Strong knowledge of business principles and practices.
– Familiarity with current teaching methods and educational technology.
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
– Ability to motivate and inspire students.
– Organisational and time management skills.
– Proficiency in mathematics, with the ability to teach mathematical concepts related to business.
