Zest Education are recruiting for a full-time geography teacher to join the wider humanities department at a local Telford school. This role is set to start January 2024 for a minimum of one term

Subject knowledge of geography up to KS5 is necessary for this role with additional knowledge needed to teach history to KS3. This level of subject knowledge is non-negotiable. The chosen candidate will be working closely with the wider department to plan and mark lessons as well as any preparations needed for exams and in class testing.
The successful applicant will have:
- A PGCE or equivalent UK teaching qualification that has awarded them QTS or QTLS
- A strong passion for the subject of Geography and excellent subject knowledge across KS3 – KS5
- A team ethos and want to be part of a strong team environment
- The ability to plan, mark and deliver high quality lessons (planning and marking only for short/long term placements).
- Strong classroom and behaviour management
