Zest Education are seeking an experienced Teacher of Geography to join a secondary school in the Moseley area. This is a full-time role where planning and marking of KS3 lessons is required. The role is due to commence in April 2024 and will run until the end of the academic year, with possibility of further extensions.

Responsibilities:

– Teaching Geography at Key Stage 3 level
– Planning and delivering engaging lessons
– Assessing students’ work and providing constructive feedback
– Marking students’ assignments and exams
– Collaborating with colleagues to enhance the Geography curriculum
– Participating in staff meetings and professional development opportunities

Qualifications:

– Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
– Degree in Geography or a related field
– Strong subject knowledge and passion for Geography
– Experience teaching Geography at secondary level

Skills:

– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to engage and motivate students
– Strong organisational skills for lesson planning and marking
– Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced school environment
– Commitment to continuous professional development
