Zest Education are seeking a qualified Teacher of Maths to join a secondary school in the centre of Birmingham. This is a part time role (0.4) where planning and marking of KS4 lessons is required. The role is due to commence in September 2024 and will run for a minimum of one term.
– Planning and delivering engaging lessons for Key Stage 4 students
– Marking and providing feedback on student work
– Collaborating with colleagues to ensure a cohesive curriculum delivery
– Supporting student learning and progress through effective teaching practices
– Attending staff meetings and professional development opportunities as required
– Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
– Experience teaching Maths up to Key Stage 4
– Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment requirements
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to inspire and motivate students
– Commitment to high standards of teaching and learning

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
