Zest Education are seeking an experienced Maths teacher to join a fantastic Secondary School in the Selly Oak area. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality maths lessons to students across KS3, KS4 and KS5. This is a full time role, where planning and marking will be required. There is also a possibility for the successful candidate to take on a head of department role in the future, depending on experience and qualifications. The role is due to commence in April 2025 and will run for the rest of the academic year.
– Plan and prepare engaging and challenging lessons
– Deliver instruction to students in an effective manner
– Assess and evaluate student progress through regular assessments
– Provide timely and constructive feedback to students
– Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and comprehensive curriculum
– Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
– Degree in Mathematics or related field
– Experience teaching maths at secondary level
– Strong knowledge of the national curriculum
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
