Are you passionate about shaping young minds through media education? Zest Education is seeking a dedicated Teacher of Media Studies to inspire students in understanding the power and influence of media on society and how communication, technology and culture all come together?
This full-time position is based in the Bartley Green area and offers an exciting opportunity to join a vibrant school community committed to supporting both professional growth and student development. The school is in a well connected area and is well-respected in the area.
Key responsibilities:
– Plan and teach engaging lessons that motivate the students in your subject and cater to the needs of diverse learners
– Mark and assess students work and track student progression
– Have excellent curriculum knowledge that continues to develop – particularly the new and engaging ways to teach Media as the subject continues to evolve.
– Have strong behaviour management skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students and staff.

Zest Education are an REC audited agency and are dedicated to safeguarding children. All candidates must hold an enhanced DBS (or allow us to process one for you) and be registered to the DBS Update Service, be able to provide references to cover the last two years and successfully pass all other necessary safeguarding checks prior to clearance for work.
Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
