Are you a passionate and dedicated teacher looking to make a real difference in the lives of students with social, emotional, and mental health difficulties (SEMH)?

We have an exciting opportunity for a Qualified Teacher to join a special educational needs school located in Shenstone.

The role, starting ASAP, offers a long-term position for the full academic year with potential for a permanent position for the right candidate. As a teacher at our school catering to students aged 6-18 with SEMH, you will play a crucial role in supporting and nurturing our students’ educational and emotional development.

 Responsibilities:

– Plan and deliver creative and differentiated lessons to ensure all students can access the curriculum and make progress.

– Cultivate a positive and nurturing learning environment where students feel supported, valued, and motivated to learn.

– Utilize a variety of teaching strategies and resources to meet the diverse needs of students, particularly those with SEMH.

– Collaborate with colleagues and support staff to develop and implement individualized education plans and interventions for students with special educational needs.

– Assess student progress and provide regular feedback to enhance teaching and support strategies.

– Establish positive relationships with students, parents/carers, and external agencies to promote holistic support and wellbeing.

 

 Successful Qualified Teacher Must:

– Hold QTS status and eligibility to work in the UK.

– Demonstrate self-motivation, creativity in curriculum delivery, and a commitment to improving the learning experience for our pupils.

– Possess experience working with young people with SEMH and complex needs, understanding effective approaches and the importance of building positive relationships.
