Zest Education is currently seeking a passionate Teacher to a Pupil Referral Unit in Cannock on a full-time basis starting September 2025.

This school caters for students aged 5-11 with SEMH and challenging behaviours, aiming to create a nurturing environment that fosters independence, choice, and celebrates each individual’s uniqueness. As a valued member of the team, you will play a pivotal role in empowering the students to achieve their full potential while providing support tailored to their specific needs.

The ideal candidate will possess a Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills (QTLS) certification, with a strong background in working with pupils with special educational needs or a keen interest in teaching children with diverse learning difficulties. Experience in developing and implementing individualised educational goals to address SEN requirements, leveraging students’ strengths and areas for growth, is highly desirable.

The school are looking for an individual who can effectively work within a team dynamic while also demonstrating leadership qualities when necessary. Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
