Are you a highly motivated, enthusiastic and creative Teaching Assistant with a desire to make a difference?

Zest Education are recruiting for a part time teaching assistant to work 1:1 at an outstanding Ofsted rated Primary School.

ROLE – Part time Teaching Assistant (1-1 Support)  (15 hours per week) 

DURATION-  ASAP – (July 2025)

AREA – Stafford

The school are looking to appoint an experienced Teaching Assistant who has previously worked with SEND pupils. An understanding of the curriculum across the age ranges in a primary school would be an advantage. You will be responsible for supporting learning and progress, following guidance from staff. You will deliver focused provision to specifically meet the needs of the child and will work alongside existing staff. Excellent communication skills and the ability to form positive relationships with our children and staff is essential.   If you are committed to providing the very best outcomes for children, and have the drive to continually improve and evolve their practice and go above and beyond to impact our school- then we would love to hear from you.

Essential criteria:

  • Previous experience of working with children with SEN
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • A kind, caring and nurturing approach to the children
  • A high standard of professional conduct
  • The ability to work effectively under the guidance of the teacher
  • The willingness to take part in all aspects of school life

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
