Teaching Assistant – SEND

Job Description

Zest Education is currently looking for an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant for a special educational needs school based in Nuneaton. This school caters to students with a wide range of needs and has a high number of students with Social Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, so we are ideally looking for someone who is confident in their behavior management skills. This environment ensures that all age groups have a small class size, with many support staff so that students receive a learning experience tailored to them.

This is a popular primary school that caters to students from the age of 4 to 11. The role is set to begin as soon as possible for the right candidate and will continue until the end of the academic year and has the potential to become permanent for the ideal candidate. You will be joining a highly experienced team that is dedicated to getting the best out of the students that they support.

The role:

  • You will be a patient individual who is dedicated to providing the best possible learning experience.
  • Support students with their educational and social development, on a 1:1 and group basis.
  • You will be confident, enthusiastic, and able to adapt quickly to various learning environments.

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are: Recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years, teaching within a school teaching the British Curriculum).
