Teaching Assistant

A friendly and inclusive primary school in Leamington Spa is looking for a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join their team on a full‑time basis. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys supporting young learners, building positive relationships and contributing to a calm, structured and engaging classroom environment. Experience working with children in a school setting is essential, and the school would welcome candidates with SEND experience.

Candidate Requirements

• Experience working with children in a primary school setting
• SEND experience is desirable
• Confident supporting pupils of varying abilities
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• A patient, proactive and enthusiastic approach
• Understanding of safeguarding and pupil wellbeing

Role Responsibilities

• Supporting pupils during lessons, group work and daily routines
• Providing 1:1 or small‑group support where needed
• Assisting the class teacher with learning activities and preparation
• Helping pupils stay engaged, confident and ready to learn
• Contributing to a positive, structured and inclusive classroom environment
