Zest is on the lookout for a friendly, outgoing teaching assistant to work at a sought-after primary school in the Marston Green area.

The school are looking for someone who is comfortable working in KS2 and must be able to start from January 2024. The role will be on a part time basis with the candidate being required to work from 8:30 through to 15:30 3 days each week. Initially the role will continue for 1 term. however, there may be the opportunity to extend for the right candidate.

The exceptional three form entry school works around core values and are committed to safe guarding and promoting the welfare of all children. The school are very proud of the school building which allows the school the offer many opportunities to pupils before, during and after school. The school are rated ‘good’ by Ofsted and are continually looking to improve the school for both staff and pupils. The motivated staff at the school work extremely hard to create exciting and stimulating environment where pupils are happy to learn.

To be considered for this role you must have recent experience working with children that you are able to obtain a reference for. You must also want to be part of a thriving team and have excellent interpersonal communication skills. The role will require you to work with groups of pupils across KS2 who require additional support within the core subject.

The pay for this role will start from £75 a day depending on references and experience.

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and recent school-based experience (teaching within a school teaching the British Curriculum).
