Teaching Assistant

Zest Education are delighted to be working with a large school in Stafford who are looking to recruit a passionate teaching assistant to join their innovative team of staff. The full-time role is due to start January 2024, running until the end of the academic year. With the school being highly flexible, the successful candidate will have a preferred choice into the year that they operate within.

This two-form entry school are continually working to improve the school for both staff and pupils, ensuring that their curriculum is engaging and inclusive so that all children, no matter their needs and abilities, can succeed. Within this caring and inclusive environment, they put the children and staffs happiness and well-being at its heart, building them the foundations of skills that they can take through life. Having no planning, marking or teaching responsibilities within the role, the successful candidate will be required to provide extra support to children in small group intervals as well as helping create a healthy learning environment. Having regular public transport routes and secure parking facilities on sight and available for all staff, the school appeals to both driving and non-driving candidates.

Pay is dependent on experience: £75-£85 per day.

All candidates must hold an enhanced DBS (or allow us to process one for you) and be registered to the DBS Update Service, be able to provide references to cover the last two years and successfully pass all other necessary safeguarding checks prior to clearance for work.

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are: level 3 qualification in child care or relevant subject or at least three months experience working with children that we can reference.

The role advertised is for temporary supply work.
