Teaching Assistant
Zest Education are recruiting for a highly regarded special educational needs school in Walsall who are looking for an experienced Teaching Assistant to work across a range of year groups. This role is to start ASAP on a full-time basis. The school is in a great location and is easily accessible by private or public transport.
This school caters for students from the age of 7-18 with moderate learning difficulties; however, the majority of pupils have additional needs, including autism, speech and language difficulties and some behavioural issues. The ideal candidate must have previous experience working with SEND or in a similar environment.
This is a popular SEND school which has a strong focus on inclusion and equality and aims to provide all pupils with essential life skills. The school are seeking a Learning Support Assistant who share the same ethos and values.
The successful candidate will be working across a range of age groups supporting the class teacher, however there may be occasions that you are required to work on a 1:1 basis or in small groups with the children. You need to be committed to providing the children with exceptional learning and support, in a fun and caring classroom environment.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
