We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our team at Zest Education. This full-time position will be available starting in January 2024 and will continue until the end of the academic year, with the possibility of becoming a permanent role for the right candidate.

As a Teaching Assistant at our Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) in Cannock, you will be working with students who may present challenging behavior. Your role will involve providing support and assistance to the teaching staff in creating a positive and inclusive learning environment. Your patience, empathy, and understanding will be crucial in building strong relationships with the students and helping them overcome any barriers to their education.

The successful candidate will have exceptional communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team. You will be assisting the teaching staff in delivering tailored lesson plans, providing one-to-one support to students, and facilitating small group activities. Previous experience in a similar role or working with children with challenging behavior would be advantageous but is not essential.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
