Are you ready to make a difference in the lives of children? Zest Education is currently seeking dedicated and enthusiastic teaching assistant to join our team. We have an exciting opportunity available at a challenging school located in the vibrant Handsworth area.
As a teaching assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the academic and personal development of students across early years and Key Stage 1. Your responsibilities will include assisting the classroom teacher in delivering lessons, providing one-on-one support to students, and helping to create a positive and engaging learning environment.
This position offers a full-time contract until the end of the summer term, with the potential for permanent employment for the right candidate. We are looking for individuals who are passionate about education, patient, and have a genuine desire to make a positive impact in the lives of children.
Requirements:
– Previous experience working with children in an educational setting is preferred, but not essential
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to work well as part of a team
– Flexibility and adaptability to the demands of a challenging school environment
The pay for this role will range from £75 to £85 a day.

Zest Education are an REC audited agency and are dedicated to safeguarding children. All candidates must hold an enhanced DBS (or allow us to process one for you) and be registered to the DBS Update Service, be able to provide references to cover the last two years and successfully pass all other necessary safeguarding checks prior to clearance for work.
Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
