Are you passionate about education and working with children? Do you have recent school-based experience?

We are currently recruiting for hard-working teaching assistant to work at a sought-after primary school on the outskirts of Great Barr. The role will begin in May 2024 and will continue on a long-term basis for the right candidate.

The lovely two form entry school work closely with parents and carers to create a safe and secure environment for all children. The team of fantastic staff working efficiently alongside each other to encouraged, supported, and challenged pupils to become the best they can be. The school are also part of an excellent multi-academy trust which is very well known in the local community.

The school is located in Great Barr so is easily accessible via public transport. The school also have a secure onsite car park for people choosing to travel in their own vehicle.

To be considered for this role you must:

  • Confidently support the class teacher within the classroom
  • Help prepare resources and assisting with displays.
  • Be comfortable working across EYFS and KS1.
  • Maintain a positive ethos of school both inside and outside of the classroom in line with the schools’ policies.
  • Have experience working in a school or nursery environment that you can reference/

The pay for this role will range from £75 to £85 a day dependent on references and experience.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
