Part-Time Teaching Assistant (NVQ Level 3)
1:1 Support
Solihull – Mornings Only

Zest Education is currently recruiting a part-time Teaching Assistant (TA) with a minimum NVQ Level 3 qualification to support a pupil with high needs in a primary school in Solihull. This rewarding and challenging teaching assistant role is to start as soon as possible, working mornings only (Monday to Friday).

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced NVQ Level 3 Teaching Assistant looking for a part-time TA role in Solihull, particularly if you are passionate about supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis with complex and high-level needs. The role requires patience, resilience, and a genuine commitment to inclusion—but offers a supportive environment and the chance to make a real difference.

Key details:

  • Role: 1:1 Teaching Assistant (TA)

  • Hours: Part-time – mornings only (term time)

  • Location: Solihull

  • Start: ASAP

  • Qualification required: NVQ Level 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning (or equivalent)

  • Contract: Ongoing with potential for extension

The ideal Teaching Assistant will:

  • Hold a minimum of NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification

  • Have previous experience working as a teaching assistant, ideally in a 1:1 capacity

  • Be confident supporting pupils with high needs, including behavioural or complex learning difficulties

  • Be patient, empathetic, and consistent in approach

  • Work closely with class teachers, SENCO, and parents/carers to ensure pupil progress
