Zest Education is thrilled to announce a fantastic opportunity to join a sought-after school in Fordbridge. The school are looking for a teaching assistant to join their already strong team from September 2024.

As an LSA, you will play a pivotal role in helping the pupil thrive academically and personally. This position offers stability and the potential for permanent employment with the school for the right candidate. The school have a lovely team of staff who you will be working alongside to provide the children with the best possible learning opportunities. The school also offers continual professional development opportunities for all staff.

Key Responsibilities:

– Providing support to children within the classroom on a 1-1 basis and in small groups.

– Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment, promoting the child’s engagement and participation in the classroom.

– Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and parents to implement individualized learning plans and monitor progress.

– Help develop essential life skills such as communication, social interaction, and independent thinking.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

– Experience working with children within a classroom or nursery environment that we are able to reference.

– Strong communication skills to establish rapport and build a supportive relationship with the pupils.

– Patience, empathy, and adaptability to meet the child’s unique needs.

– A basic knowledge of the UK curriculum.

 

The pay for this role will start from £80 a day depending on references and experience.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
