Teaching Assistant

Job Description

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of students with Autism and associated needs? Zest Education is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a special educational needs school in Rugby.

This role is due to begin September 2024 and will continue on a long term basis for the full academic year.

This unique opportunity involves working with students aged 3-18 in an environment tailored to their individual requirements. Your role as a Teaching Assistant will be pivotal in providing personalised support to help students thrive and succeed in their educational journey.

We are looking for someone with an enthusiastic and friendly demeanour, who can approach challenges with empathy and understanding. While having Team Teach Training is beneficial, we value a genuine willingness to learn and adapt to the diverse needs of our students.

At this school, every student’s success and well-being are at the forefront of what we do. We believe in offering specialised care and support to help each student reach their full potential. If you are dedicated to creating a positive and nurturing learning environment, we invite you to be part of our team and uphold our commitment to excellence.

To excel in this role, prior experience working with individuals with special educational needs is essential, whether in a classroom or care/support setting. The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to establish a safe and supportive learning space while effectively managing and de-escalating challenging behaviours.

If you are ready to embark on a rewarding journey of empowering students with Autism, apply now to join us at Zest Education and be a catalyst for positive change in our students’ lives.
