Here at Zest Education, we are currently seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join the team at a primary school on the outskirts of central Walsall starting in October 2024, to continue on a long term basis. The school, a two-form-entry establishment, prides itself on fostering a happy, respectful, and purposeful learning environment where every student is empowered to achieve their full potential. As a TA at the school, you will play a crucial role in supporting the teaching staff and ensuring that all students receive the necessary guidance and assistance to succeed academically and personally.
The role will predominantly be based in KS1 and will be on a full time basis.
Located within a diverse community where more than 20 different languages are spoken, the school celebrates and embraces cultural differences while promoting inclusivity and understanding. The value the importance of building strong and nurturing relationships with our students, creating a supportive and encouraging atmosphere for their growth and development.
To be considered for this role, you must have recent experience working within a school or nursery environment.
The pay for this role starts from £80 a day, depending on references and experience.

Zest Education are an REC audited agency and are dedicated to safeguarding children. All candidates must hold an enhanced DBS (or allow us to process one for you) and be registered to the DBS Update Service, be able to provide references to cover the last two years and successfully pass all other necessary safeguarding checks prior to clearance for work.
Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
