We are seeking a full-time Teaching Assistant to work from 8:30-15:30, Monday to Friday, in a warm and supportive environment that values respect, happiness, and purposeful learning. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in helping students aged 3-11 achieve their full potential through tailored support and compassionate guidance.

To excel in this position, candidates should have previous experience working with individuals with special educational needs or in a similar care or support role. Strong communication skills, a passion for education, and a commitment to student well-being are essential qualities we are looking for in our ideal candidate. Collaborating closely with the class teacher, you will assist in classroom management, support student learning activities, and ensure the classroom is a safe, inclusive space for all.

 

 Key Responsibilities:

– Prepare class materials and resources

– Support small group activities and individual student learning

– Provide guidance and support for students with special educational needs

– Assist with classroom management and organisation

– Communicate with parents and caregivers regarding student performance and well-being
