Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of students with special educational needs (SEND)? Zest Education is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a reputable SEND school situated in Warwick.
Position: Teaching Assistant
Location: Warwick
Type: Full-time
Commencement: Immediate
Working Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:30-15:30
The school specialises in providing tailored education to students aged 5-18 with Autism (ASC) and social, emotional, and mental health difficulties (SEMH). To excel in this role, prior experience in supporting individuals with SEND is essential.
The school boasts exceptional facilities, with classrooms designed to cater to the unique requirements of each learner. Student support plans place a significant emphasis on physical exercise to enhance their development.
As a Teaching Assistant, you will engage with students on a one-to-one basis and within small groups, necessitating adaptability. Working under the guidance of the class teacher, your role will involve supporting student progress and maintaining their engagement.
Confidence in managing challenging behaviours both in and out of the classroom is crucial for success in this role.

Zest Education are an REC audited agency and are dedicated to safeguarding children. All candidates must hold an enhanced DBS (or allow us to process one for you) and be registered to the DBS Update Service, be able to provide references to cover the last two years and successfully pass all other necessary safeguarding checks prior to clearance for work.
Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
