Are you a dynamic and passionate Teaching Assistant looking for something new? Zest Education have an exciting opportunity to join the team at a primary school in Burton. This part-time role is available immediately for a minimum of one term, working 3 days a week.
You will have the chance to work in a diverse and inclusive environment that values professional development. The school offers exposure to behaviour management skills and small group interventions, providing you with the tools needed to make a positive impact on students’ learning experiences.
Located close to public transport routes, this primary school is easily accessible for candidates from all over the area. If you are dedicated to supporting students and helping them reach their full potential, this role is ideal for you.
Key responsibilities:
– Supporting the classroom teacher in delivering lessons
– Providing one-on-one support to students who need additional help
– Assisting with behaviour management and implementing small group interventions
– Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students
Requirements:
– Experience working with children in an educational setting
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to work effectively as part of a team
– Willingness to learn and participate in professional development opportunities

Zest Education are an REC audited agency and are dedicated to safeguarding children. All candidates must hold an enhanced DBS (or allow us to process one for you) and be registered to the DBS Update Service, be able to provide references to cover the last two years and successfully pass all other necessary safeguarding checks prior to clearance for work.
Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
