Are you interested in working with children with special educational needs? Zest Education is currently recruiting for Learning Support Assistants on behalf of a SEND school based in Cannock. These roles are available on a full-time and part-time basis to start in November 2024 on a short-term or long-term/permanent basis.. This role involves providing vital 1:1 support to students with special educational needs and disabilities, aiding them with academic tasks, social interactions, and personal care needs.

The ideal candidate for this role would have experience in a similar setting within the last 5 years. Whether you have experience in a school teaching the British Curriculum or in a care-based environment, your contribution as a Learning Support Assistant will be invaluable.

By assisting teachers in delivering lessons, activities, and individualized education plans, you’ll be contributing to the overall development and progress of students. Maintaining a safe and supportive learning environment is paramount, ensuring that all students can thrive and learn effectively while adhering to health and safety regulations.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
