Zest Education is currently recruiting on behalf of a school in Derbyshire for a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant who has experience working within Special Educational Needs environments.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for supporting students with diverse learning needs and creating a positive and inclusive educational experience. The school prides itself on providing a harmonious and enjoyable environment where students can grow and thrive.
Key responsibilities:
– Supporting students with Special Educational Needs in their learning and development
– Assisting classroom teachers in planning and delivering engaging and inclusive lessons
– Providing one-on-one support to students who require additional help
– Collaborating with the SENCO and other staff members to create individualized learning plans
Requirements:
– Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a Special Educational Needs setting
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills
– A patient and empathetic approach to working with students with diverse needs
– Relevant qualifications in education or special needs support

Zest Education are an REC audited agency and are dedicated to safeguarding children. All candidates must hold an enhanced DBS (or allow us to process one for you) and be registered to the DBS Update Service, be able to provide references to cover the last two years and successfully pass all other necessary safeguarding checks prior to clearance for work.
Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
