Teaching Assistant
Location: Stoke-on-Trent
Contract: Part Time
Start Date: ASAP

Zest Education is proud to be working in partnership with a welcoming primary school in Stoke-on-Trent to recruit a Level 3 Teaching Assistant.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated and enthusiastic individual who is passionate about supporting children’s learning and development. The role may include working as a general classroom Teaching Assistant supporting the whole class, or providing 1:1 support for a pupil with additional needs.
Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons.
Work with individual pupils or small groups to reinforce learning and promote progress.
Provide targeted 1:1 support where required.
Help create a positive, nurturing, and stimulating classroom environment.
Support children’s social, emotional, and behavioural development.
Contribute to planning, assessment, and classroom organisation under the guidance of the teacher.
Build strong relationships with staff, pupils, and parents to ensure every child thrives.
We are looking for a candidate who:
Holds a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).
Has prior experience supporting pupils in a primary school setting.
Is patient, reliable, and committed to helping children reach their potential.
Has excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Can show flexibility to support across year groups or in a 1:1 capacity as required.
Brings enthusiasm and positivity to every school day!

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
