Full-Time EYFS/Butterfly Teaching Assistant – Balsall Heath Area
Start: ASAP | Ongoing for the remainder of the academic year

Zest Education is proud to be working with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in the Balsall Heath area to recruit a dedicated and compassionate EYFS/Butterfly Teaching Assistant. This is a full-time position, supporting children within the school’s resource base, including pupils with additional learning needs.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and adaptable Teaching Assistant who holds a minimum NVQ Level 3 qualification (or equivalent) in Early Years or Supporting Teaching and Learning. The successful candidate will be someone who is:

  • Reliable, caring, and patient in their approach

  • Confident in supporting children with additional needs

  • Able to adapt their communication and teaching style to meet individual needs

  • A positive team player who contributes to a supportive learning environment

Key information:

  • Full-time role (term time only) 8.20am – 3.40pm, Monday – Friday

  • Immediate start, continuing for the remainder of the academic year

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
