Job Description

Zest Education is recruiting for a dedicated and passionate teaching assistant to join our team at a reputable school in Solihull. As a teaching assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the classroom teacher, maintaining a positive and stimulating learning environment for all children.

Responsibilities:
– Assist in delivering engaging lessons and activities under the guidance of the classroom teacher
– Provide one-on-one support to pupils, ensuring their individual learning needs are met
– Contribute to creating a safe and inclusive classroom setting for all pupils
– Supervise children during break times and school outings
– Collaborate with teaching staff to develop and implement effective educational plans
– Uphold the school’s ethos and values in all interactions and activities

Requirements:
– Proven experience as a teaching assistant, preferably in a similar educational setting
– Genuine passion for working with children and helping them achieve their academic potential
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Sound knowledge of child development principles and various teaching methodologies
– Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
– NVQ Level 3 qualification or higher in a relevant childcare field

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
