Are you passionate about supporting the success of young learners? Zest Education is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a primary school in Rugeley. Starting after the May half term, fore the duration of the school year. This school is committed to providing the best possible support for their students, ensuring a nurturing and empowering learning environment.
**Role Responsibilities:**
– Support the class teacher in daily activities
– Assist and support pupils in their learning journey
– Work 1:1 with students who require additional help
– Lead learning activities in small groups
– Maintain high standards of behaviour and discipline
– Create and sustain a productive learning atmosphere
**Ideal Candidate:**
– Holds a teaching assistant qualification or has relevant experience in a primary school setting
– Possesses or is willing to obtain a valid DBS clearance

Zest Education are an APSCo audited agency and are dedicated to safeguarding children. All candidates must hold an enhanced DBS (or allow us to process one for you) and be registered to the DBS Update Service, be able to provide references to cover the last two years and successfully pass all other necessary safeguarding checks prior to clearance for work.
Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
