Teaching Assistant – Full-Time | KS2 1:1 Support

Location: Kings Heath, Birmingham
Start Date: January 2026


Are you a patient, adaptable, and calm Teaching Assistant looking for a rewarding role?
Zest Education is recruiting for a Level 2 qualified Teaching Assistant to work on a 1:1 basis with a child in Key Stage 2 who has additional needs, including ASD and behavioural challenges. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Teaching Assistant who wants to make a real difference in a child’s learning and development.


The Teaching Assistant Role

  • Full-time position, Monday to Friday
  • Provide dedicated 1:1 support for a KS2 pupil with additional needs
  • Assist with learning activities, emotional regulation, and behaviour management
  • Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement tailored strategies
  • Encourage positive behaviour and help the child develop independence
