The successful candidate will be joining a dynamic team of educators who are dedicated to creating a positive and productive learning environment for every child.
Provide support to teachers across a range of subjects and year groups
Work with students on a 1:1 basis and in small groups to reinforce learning
Assist with classroom management and lesson preparation
Encourage and motivate pupils to participate and progress
Help to maintain a safe, respectful, and engaging learning environment
Experience working with children or young people in an educational setting is desirable
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
A positive, flexible, and proactive approach
Ability to build rapport with pupils and support their individual needs
A valid DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one via Zest Education

Zest Education are an APSCo audited agency and are dedicated to safeguarding children. All candidates must hold an enhanced DBS (or allow us to process one for you) and be registered to the DBS Update Service, be able to provide references to cover the last two years and successfully pass all other necessary safeguarding checks prior to clearance for work.
Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
