Teaching Assistant – Solihull (Start January 2026, Long-Term)

Zest Education is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a reputable school in Solihull on a long-term basis starting January 2026.

About the Role

As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in creating a positive and inclusive learning environment. You’ll work closely with classroom teachers to deliver engaging lessons and provide tailored support to pupils.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in planning and delivering exciting lessons and activities
  • Provide one-to-one and small group support to meet individual learning needs
  • Help maintain a safe, stimulating, and inclusive classroom environment
  • Supervise pupils during break times and school trips
  • Collaborate with teachers to implement effective learning strategies
  • Promote the school’s ethos and values in all interactions

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant in a school setting
  • A genuine passion for helping children achieve their potential
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of child development and teaching strategies
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification in childcare or education
