Zest are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic teaching assistant to join our diverse and inclusive school in the Acocks Green area. This is a full-time position, available on an ongoing basis. The school prides itself on fostering a diverse and inclusive environment where every student feels valued and supported and their dedicated team of educators is committed to providing a high-quality education that meets the individual needs of students. As a teaching assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students and teachers in a dynamic educational environment.

Your main responsibilities will include:

– Assisting teachers in delivering engaging and interactive lessons
– Providing one-on-one support to students who require additional assistance
– Supporting students with their individual learning needs
– Creating a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere
– Assisting with classroom management and behavior management strategies

The ideal candidate for this role should possess the following qualifications and attributes:

– Relevant experience working as a teaching assistant or in a similar role
– A passion for education and a genuine desire to make a difference in students’ lives
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills
– The ability to work effectively as part of a team
– Flexibility and adaptability to meet the changing needs of the classroom

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
