This is a full-time position that is set to start as soon as possible for the right candidate. And continue until the end of the academic year.
The school is dedicated to serving students aged 9-19 who have social-emotional or Mental Health (SEMH) needs, often alongside conditions such as ADHD, ASD, and attachment disorders. We are on the lookout for a proactive and engaging individual who boasts a track record of strong behaviour management skills.
The schools’ main mission is to give their children and young adults access to positive and engaging learning experiences that are thoughtfully tailored to their unique learning needs to equip them with the tools necessary to thrive and create a successful future.
As a Teaching Assistant in this role, you will have the opportunity to rapidly build engaging relationships with small groups of students. Your role will be closely aligned with that of the class teacher and fellow teaching assistants, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment.
