Are you passionate about supporting children’s learning and development? We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming Primary School in Burntwood from January 2025.
This is a full-time position working Monday to Friday (8:30am – 3:30pm), supporting pupils across Key Stage 1 (KS1) or Key Stage 2 (KS2). For the right candidate, there may be an opportunity for this role to become long-term or permanent.
Provide classroom support to the class teacher and pupils in KS1 or KS2.
Help deliver engaging lessons and learning activities.
Support individual pupils or small groups to boost confidence and attainment.
Create a positive, safe, and stimulating learning environment.
Assist with classroom preparation and resources.
Experience working with children in a school or similar setting.
A caring, patient, and proactive attitude.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Relevant qualifications (e.g. Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant) are desirable but not essential.
A genuine passion for helping young learners thrive.
