Location: Burntwood, Staffordshire
Start Date: January 2025
Contract: Full Time, Ongoing (Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm)
Pay: Competitive and based on experience

Are you passionate about supporting children’s learning and development? We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming Primary School in Burntwood from January 2025.

This is a full-time position working Monday to Friday (8:30am – 3:30pm), supporting pupils across Key Stage 1 (KS1) or Key Stage 2 (KS2). For the right candidate, there may be an opportunity for this role to become long-term or permanent.


🔹 The Role:

  • Provide classroom support to the class teacher and pupils in KS1 or KS2.

  • Help deliver engaging lessons and learning activities.

  • Support individual pupils or small groups to boost confidence and attainment.

  • Create a positive, safe, and stimulating learning environment.

  • Assist with classroom preparation and resources.


🔹 The Ideal Candidate:

  • Experience working with children in a school or similar setting.

  • A caring, patient, and proactive attitude.

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.

  • Relevant qualifications (e.g. Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant) are desirable but not essential.

  • A genuine passion for helping young learners thrive.
