Zest is proud to be working with a lovely school located in Erdington who are looking for a full-time teaching assistant to join their team in September 2024. The role will involve working in KS1 with small groups of pupils who require additional support within the classroom. There will be a strong focus on the core subjects however you will also need to occasionally support with non-core subject.

The successful candidate:

  • Must have excellent communication skills.
  • Must be able to work well as part of a team.
  • Must be able to build strong relationships with small groups of children.
  • Must be empathetic, patience and understanding.

The role:

  • Must help set up and tidy the classroom at the start and end of each day.
  • Supervise group activities.
  • Keep all pupils on task.
  • Contributing to behaviour management.

The pay for this role will start from £80 a day depending on references.
