Are you passionate about working with children and making a real difference in their lives? Zest Education is currently looking to recruit a part-time Teaching Assistant for an exciting opportunity at a vibrant infants school in the Rednal area.
As a Teaching Assistant at this wonderful school, you will have the chance to work in a newly refurbished resource base, providing essential support to children with additional needs. Your role will involve working closely with students on a 1:3 basis, catering to a diverse range of abilities and ages. This includes supporting children with conditions such as autism, dyspraxia, ADHD, Downs Syndrome, and various physical disabilities.
This position offers flexibility with a 3-day workweek from 08.15 am to 3.30 pm, allowing the right candidate to balance work with other commitments. We are looking for individuals who are NVQ Level 3 qualified or above, demonstrating a strong work ethic and dedication to supporting children in their learning journey. A solid understanding of the national curriculum and a friendly, approachable demeanour are essential qualities we seek in potential candidates.

Zest Education are an REC audited agency and are dedicated to safeguarding children. All candidates must hold an enhanced DBS (or allow us to process one for you) and be registered to the DBS Update Service, be able to provide references to cover the last two years and successfully pass all other necessary safeguarding checks prior to clearance for work.
Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
