🧩 About the Role

  • Position: Day-to-Day Supply Teaching Assistant
  • Location: Walsall
  • Start Date: ASAP
  • Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm
  • School Type: All‑through SEND school (Primary & Secondary)
  • Needs Supported: Autism (ASC), communication needs, sensory needs

You’ll be working across both primary and secondary phases, supporting pupils with autism in a nurturing, structured and engaging learning environment. Every day is different, and your adaptability will help students feel safe, supported and ready to learn.

🎒 Key Responsibilities

  • Provide 1:1 and small‑group support for pupils with autism
  • Assist with classroom routines, learning activities and behaviour support
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and support staff
  • Help create a calm, positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Support pupils with communication, sensory regulation and emotional wellbeing
