About the Role
As a Year 6 Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting pupils and teachers throughout the crucial final year of primary school. Your duties will include:

Providing targeted support to individuals and small groups, particularly in English and Maths.

Assisting the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons and learning activities.

Helping pupils prepare for end-of-year assessments and SATs.

Supporting children with varying learning needs to stay focused and confident.

Encouraging positive behaviour and maintaining a nurturing, inclusive classroom environment.
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who:

Holds a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).

Has experience working with children
-
Demonstrates strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Is patient, proactive, and adaptable in their approach to supporting learning.

Works well as part of a team and uses initiative when required.

Has a genuine passion for education and helping children reach their full potential.
