We’re recruiting for an enthusiastic, bright, and hard-working Teaching Assistants to work on a long-term basis at a special needs school located in Lichfield.

Job Type: Full-time/Part-time, Immediate start with potential for permanent position

  •  Support students 1:1 and in small groups to enhance their learning engagement
  •  Collaborate closely with the class teacher and fellow teaching assistants
  • You need to be dedicated to the school and children creating a fun and caring learning environment
  • You must be a hard-working individual and proficient in working in a fast-paced environment
  • You are confident with managing challenging behaviour and can de-escalate any challenge you do face with a calm, rational approach



  • Level 3 Diploma in teaching and learning (desirable, not essential)
  • Previous experience in support/care work or as a teaching assistant (References required)
  • Strong behaviour management skills
  • Hold a DBS on the update service, or willing to obtain one
